Stuart Dunkel

Gallery artist Stuart Dunkel currently has a solo show in the Red Room at the Copley Society in Boston. Stuart is a gallery favorite with his subtle humor, and ability to portray what would ordinarily be undesirable critters, in a very endearing way. See Stuarts' rich paintings regularly at the gallery and at the following special showing.

First Workshop a Sellout!

Mikel Wintermantel taught the first Master Artist Workshop in the gallery on Saturday and Sunday,
August 22nd and 23rd.
The galleries four rooms were filled to capacity with 12 artists busy mastering the new medium of interactive acrylics and luminist landscape painting.

New workshops are being scheduled for 2010. Check the gallery website often for more information or email: nancy@nancyisherwood.com.

Weekly Art Classes
with Nancy Isherwood

$20 per class
1 class per week
Choice of Wed. from 6:30 to 9:00pm
or Sat. from 10am to 12:30pm

These are ongoing classes through next June when we will have an art exhibit with awards in the gallery.
Students can work in most mediums including; oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolor, pen & ink, graphite, colored pencil, calligraphy, etc. No photography, ceramics, or sculpture. Students may also work on their own subject matter.

Limited parking is available for non-resident vehicles during the day on Catherine St.  or behind the building accessible from Catherine St. in "Guest Parking."  Newport vehicles can also park on Redwood St.  Please respect the signs for resident parking. Ample non-metered parking is available in the area.

The gallery is on the first floor and is accessible from building entrances on Bellevue Avenue, Catherine Street and from the lot in the rear.
